Have an aspiring chef in your family? This new adventure might be for you!

Starting July 8th, at Disney's Contemporary Resort, a new behind the scenes adventure awaits. This time in the kitchen! The Family Culinary Adventure allows Guests to go backstage work alongside a Disney Chef. Upon arrival in the kitchen, Guests will be broken into groups and assigned a portion of the meal, which they'll prepare with the aid of a Chef. Teams will regroup to introduce their menu item before sitting down to a group dinner. At the conclusion of the adventure, Guests will be presented with a cookbook signed by the Chefs and a white Chef's hat. This 3 ½ hour interactive experience is available twice a week and costs US $175 per adult and US $125 per child (ages 9-12) plus tax.

In a group with a max of 30, guests aged 9 and older, will don aprons, hats and gloves. There will be five stations in all, each teaching techniques such as:

Garde manger, is the French term for food produced in the cold kitchen, where guests learn how to make farmer cheese, from-scratch butter, and how to plate a gourmet salad on a rapidly moving electric belt in the professional kitchen.

Sushi, with sushi chefs teaching the art of rolling sushi and sashimi. (This station may rotate with other culinary ideas.)

Boucherie, or butcher station, where guests learn how to trim a beef tenderloin to make the perfect filet mignon.

Pasta, with just three ingredients (semolina, olive oil and egg), guests learn to make tender noodles from scratch, along with fresh basil pesto.

Patisserie,or bakery, where guests get to play with chocolate, mousse and other sweet endings
